    Findapart was in fact the first company to put down in writing a Code of Practice and Conduct by which a Group of Dismantlers agreed to operate under.
    The real Find A Part has been Britain's Leading Used Auto Parts Location Service for over 30 years and in simple terms we operate as an introducer between people needing parts (customers) and Used / Recycled Part suppliers.

    Simplicity of Operation
    The way the system works is very simple.
    1. Customers requiring Parts let us know what they require.
    2. We transmit all customers requirements to all Suppliers.
    3. Suppliers with the parts required contact the customer direct.
  • By ensuring that all negotiations on the actual Parts sale are made directly between Parts Buyer and Supplier it ensures that the Best Price and Deal for both sides is the end result.
    Unlike some other services we do not act as agents, add a hidden commission on parts or make any direct profit on the parts found or supplied.

  • What we have never done makes all the difference
    1. We have never asked customers to phone Suppliers on an 08 or 09 number.
    2. We have never advertised 08 or 09 Numbers listed against Suppliers Names in order to earn money out of unsuspecting callers.
    3. We have never created a suppliers list with 08 or 09 Numbers or done this without the knowledge of a Supplier who on answering the phone has no realization that the caller is being charged for the call.
    4. We have never operated a "We have your Parts" 09 or 08 text message service where the Parts Buyer can be charged up to £5 for receiving the texts.
    5. We have also never operated an 09 or 08 text message service where the actual cost of the text messages is in small print in the terms and conditions section of a site.
    6. We have never acted as agents where an extra charge / commission on parts sold has been added by a Supplier.
    Unlike some other "services" we keep it as clean and transparent as possible as we value our reputation.
